Hello. My name is Raven Perez. This is my dojo and it's now in it's 7th year online. I am a freelance comic artist (graphic designer) and have been updating my weekly strip here at the dojo and am creating new webcomics as often as I can. I am the artist/writer of the current run on Godmodeonline.com (the earlier goodness was by Ryan Kerns). I've self-published a few things here and there. You can buy the comic here at the dojo. Self publishing is my life's ambition and with any luck I'll be doing that for a living in time.

Aside from my self publishing work, I have had "work for exposure"-comics in the collections by Agerai.com and Industrystandard.com. I have also created work which may or may not be featured in the ECAU.net's anthology and was the webdesigner for Tsubasacon.org (WV's first and only anime con!). My extent with that last one went so far as to create the mascots, name tags, and program cover as well. I've been there from the start and support the con as much as I can.

I've finally earned my B.A. in Graphic Design even though I've been free lancing here and there since high school. I enjoy all kinds of movies or a quick video game (fighting games mostly...). Oh and obviously comics. Both American and Japanese.

I practice a self taught style of free-handing ink pen work. Photoshop is my primary coloring tool although I'm learning other things now days. Please enjoy the site, buy a comic, buy a commission, and check back weekly for each new update. In the summer and holidays check back MORE than weekly since updates usually come multiple times a week.

Lastly: The site is called Raven's dojo because the flagship comic takes place within Raven's dojo. It stars Rodney & Dornail my two most important (and first!) creations.
